overflow
reflection
1. Explain how you showed the meaning of each word.
In "overflow", the letters are "overflowing" out of the W. In "reflection", the word reflection is reflecting on itself, looking as though the word reflection has a reflection.
2. What was the most challenging part of creating your word illustrations?
I would say that the most daunting task would have been trying to stay original while making these. Trying to come up with an idea that wasn't completely generic/unoriginal or a blatant ripoff of someone else's design was tough at first. Aside from that, trying to get the words "reflection" to line up with each other was pretty annoying.
3. Did you participate in a critique? Was this helpful for you? Why?
I did, and I would say that it did help, as I was given good suggestions on how to improve my illustrations, and which one's were good to go already.
